About Linked Calculator

Linked Calculator is a free online workspace where multiple calculators live side by side — and where one calculator can use the result of another.

1What is Linked Calculator?

Linked Calculator is a free multi calculator workspace that runs entirely in your browser. Instead of switching between one calculator after another, you keep several calculators on one screen and calculate each value separately — prices, sums, percentages, square roots and more.

The difference is in the connections: any calculator can use the result of another as the starting point of its own formula.

2How linked calculations work

Suppose calculator A holds your revenue and calculator B your costs. Calculator C can calculate A − B: your profit. Change A or B, and C recalculates instantly.

Links can be chained too, so multi-step calculations stay live from start to end:

  • Link results with the “Use result” button, or by dragging a result onto another calculator on desktop;
  • Change one value and every connected calculator updates automatically;
  • Combine with parentheses, √, x², %, ×, −, ÷ and +.

3Templates — ready-made and homemade

The Use Templates button sets up ready-made calculators, organised by category. At the top there is Most popular — the templates people open the most — followed by the categories themselves: Business (Profit Calculator, Add VAT Calculator, Remove VAT Calculator, Freelance Hourly Rate Calculator, Freelance Retainer Calculator, Job Quotation Calculator), Finance (Discount Calculation, Compound Interest Calculator, Wedding Budget Calculator), Fun & Trending (Age Calculator, Screen Time of Life Calculator), Health (BMI Calculator, TDEE & Calorie Deficit Calculator), Investments (Dividend Income Calculator, FIRE Calculator) and Real Estate (Mortgage Need). A template is a small set of linked calculators where you only fill in the numbers.

But you are not limited to those. Because any calculator can link to any other, you can build your own template for anything you calculate regularly — a price quote, a savings plan, a recipe conversion. Set it up once, keep it in its own workspace, and reuse it as often as you like: change the inputs and every linked result follows. The How to Calculate guides show ready-made examples for mortgage need, discounts, compound interest and profit margin.

4Share your workspace as a link

A finished setup is worth sharing. The Share this workspace option in the Share, Export This Workspace menu — next to the workspace name — turns your entire workspace into a single link: workspace name, every calculator, the numbers you entered, the links between them and the formatting (currency, percentage).

Whoever opens the link receives an exact copy as a new workspace in their own browser and can keep calculating from there. Your own workspace is never affected: it is a copy, not live collaboration. It works in WhatsApp, e-mail, X, LinkedIn or any messaging app — no account needed. To keep the link short, the workspace details are stored with the link itself so it always opens; sharing is the only thing that saves anything.

This also makes it the easiest way to hand someone your homemade template: build it once, share the link, and they start from the same linked setup you did.

5Export your calculations as PDF

A calculation is easier to share when every step is clear. Linked Calculator lets you export your workspace as a PDF overview, whether you are preparing a budget, checking a price quote or keeping a record of an investment calculation.

Open Share, Export This Workspace next to the workspace name and choose Export as PDF. A print-ready overview opens; select Save as PDF in your browser’s print dialog. The document includes your workspace name, the date, and each calculator’s letter, name, formula and result. Linked steps show the names and values of the calculators they use, so the connections remain readable outside the workspace.

The PDF is a snapshot of your calculation, not an editable workspace. If someone needs to change the numbers and keep calculating, send the workspace link instead.

6Who it is for

Linked Calculator is built for everyday calculations that depend on each other: budgets, invoices, discounts, VAT, price comparisons, project costs and any multi-step equation where changing one number should ripple through the rest.

7Private by design

There is no account and nothing to install. Your calculators and workspaces are saved automatically in your own browser, on your own device. We do not receive or store your calculations — unless you deliberately share a workspace (see above), where the details are stored only so the short link keeps working.

8Free to use

Linked Calculator is free to use, without an account. Details about cookies and your choices can be found in our Privacy Policy.
