Dividend Income Calculator
Dividend income is what your investments pay you simply for holding them. Take the amount you have invested, multiply it by the dividend yield, and you get your yearly dividend income — divide by 12 to see what arrives each month, and multiply by the number of years to see the total dividends you earned.
1How it is calculated
- Calculator A (Investment amount): the money you have invested, for example €10,000.
- Calculator B (Dividend yield): the yield of the stock or fund, for example 4% per year.
- Calculator C (Number of years): how long you hold the investment, for example 10 years.
- Calculator D (Yearly dividend income): A × B% = €400 per year.
- Calculator E (Monthly dividend income): D ÷ 12 = €33.33 per month.
- Calculator F (Total dividend earned): D × C = €4,000 over 10 years.
